Cosmopolitan Man

I am a cosmopolitan guy. I believe that the idea of cosmopolitanism works.

Cosmopolitanism is the idea that all of humanity belongs to a single moral community. In short, i believe i am a citizen of the world. There should be no blacks nor whites, there should be no short or tall. Everyone is physically exterior borned equal. I mean, c'mon, the way you are born is not a fault of yours. Some are born gifted, some are born normal, some are born black, some are born in war-torn countries and some are borned less fortunate. Its not their option to choose to be borned that way. You may refered this as bad luck or karma. But i choose to name this as LIFE.

But, what i hate the most, is when politics, religions and beliefs that makes a human suffers. Is there no choice, for these people such as, women in Afghanistan to choose how they should live their life? Is there no choice, that a baby borned in Israel or Palestine, to grow happily as a happy child, safely? Is there no choice, that an average human actually can choose be happy with a life that he wanted? ........

Why must politics, society, religions and countries comes between? It must be someone faults to actually starts this. Ego or control perhaps? American government likes to fight for the freedom of their people and the control of other governments. Their beliefs is different and their beliefs is so limited to within themselves, that they have lost touch and lost the feeling of an average citizens of the world. Ask an average adult in Texas, and i doubt that, he would be able to tell you the differences between a Japanese and a Chinese. Why should he be bothered? Because he is not a cosmopolitan, thats why.

What is the main difference then? Between each unique individual of humans that exists in this world?

I believe the differences lie within themselves. The inner self. The inner core that makes us different. The character of person, the mindset of a person and the attitude of a person. That is the real difference!

Thus, i hate it the most at whiners and complainers. Those who complains of this and that. Just like kid or baby asking for attention and fairness. C'mon. Grow up! Be a MAN. Stop complaining! Instead, ask yourself, what can you do about it? Make something productive. Be proactive. Be positive. It works better that way.

Some examples of the scenario, i noticed. Chinese government ban the supermarkets to give out free plastics bags for shoppers. I did not listen anyone whine here. Simply, one changes. I simply carry plastics bags and shopping bags when i go out to shop, from home, fully prepared. Fair and square. Helps the environment too. Of course, you then have to plan for your shopping time. Be prepared, in short!

Malaysians whine at petrol kiosk not providing credit card services anymore. They whine and complains! C'mon. Just plan ahead la when you want to go to petrol station. Maybe withdraw a little more cash when you go to banks. Be prepared. The number of petrol kiosk in Malaysia is several times more than petrol kiosk in China. In Malaysia, you will see petrol kiosk almost anywhere. The competition is so high. Anywhere you can find petrol. In China, sometimes you have to line up for 30 minutes to pump your car. The reason is there are so limited petrol kiosk in China. Hardly you can see one next to each other in China. Plus, of course, Chinese here pays higher than what we, Malaysian pays on average for a litre of petrol. I never really heard them complaining. Yeah. You can says that Chinese take bicycle more and bus more. Yes, no doubt about it. The government here makes these decisions long time ago. They invests in bus system and transportation routes and systems. Everyone takes bus here. There are so much cab here and its so convenient. In short, change yourself. Don't be a rusty piece of iron. Change!

I believe, its just that, we, Malaysians are too used to be pampered and used to an easy lifestyle. Hence, it is difficult to change. Especially those older ones. Somehow rusty. Good for me. Plentiful of opportunity with less competitions, as i am a risk taker that like changes. Awesome!

Haih! The more i grow older, the more i felt sympathetic for an average world citizens. Blinded by their own beliefs, external pursuations (brain washing) and simply ignorant. That is what this world is all about now, in macro view, generally. How that i could wish and shake someones head, making him wakes up, realising that we are a citizens of the world, that we are a part of the world itself. That it makes more sense to work together and lower the ego within themselves for a better future for the children generations.

I am a cosmopolitan man, and i end this with a saying, " We are a citizen of the world!"

Evolution of Man

I have something to declare. I have changed mentally. The way i communicate, the method i use to think has changed and the way i talk has even changed. What the hell am i blabblering here? No doubt that i have passion to write and i like to write. But the content that i wrote nowaday seems to be broken and its clustered everywhere without a deep meaningful meaning. Rather, it is another surface content, with ideas and information here and there. Information and feelings that drift from my brain to the keyboard i am using right now, typing this out. Funny feeling, isn't it?

I was read this article by MM and Nicolas Carr and it simply stunned me. I was surprised but i was not shocked. Deep thought.... .... .... Then i realised that what they say is very true. WE have changed as a human kind itself. WE are evolving. We are changing to the new era post internet. Some might fear it, as it really changed the way we communicate daily, the way we read and etc etc etc. Scary but its true. *I will be surprised you are willing to finish reading the whole article by them and mine!* Seriously!

You see, i read a lot, i mean a lot. Daily! I browse through information like gigabytes of memories and clusters of random informations and datas ranges from political news, fashions, ideas, cars, blogs, travels and sports all into one. I simply can't survive one day without getting informations into my brain. Its like i am getting dried. I need information. This crazy phenomenon, which i am referring to, is called "information junkie", a term used by me.

C'mon! Lets sit down and make some thinking. Some deep thought. How often DO YOU not spending your time not doing online reading? Can you simply lock out yourself from computer and internet for maybe 1 week? By then, you are simply outdated by a week. Can you adapt to it?

I believe that all of us, that uses computers and internet faces this problem. I might be wrong. I have talked less, i communicate via MSN and bloggint more than using my mouth. We talk in MSN to our friends more than we talk face to face. My family communicates more effectively using blogging and MSN more than face to face. I have less and less call to my mom, although the charges is getting cheaper. Bruneians even uses their mobile phones to MSN rather than just use a calling function. Friends uses SMS to send the word OK, rather than to call and say OK! Its like a borderless world, where there are no restriction of geographical area anymore.

Lets break it down further (again, my ideas comes and goes), i think our education system have to be change, FAST! We are still using the old traditional methodologies of teaching to our new and younger generations of kids. C'mon! Imagine and understand this:

40% of humans received information via visual (eye sight)
40% of humans received information via kino (touching and feeling)
20% of humans received information via audio (hearing)

OMG! Only 20% of us listen? Yeah! You are absolutely correct. Btw, the information above is not a pluck out of the sky, but rather a scientific analysis done and its a common knowledge to anyone that reads.

Only a handful of us really understand anything we listen to. 20% to be exact plus or minus. The majority of us, 80%, to be exact, actually understands via visualizing, imagining, feeling and touching the information. PLUS, of course, with the addition of internet at the touch of our fingertips, i believe the method of visualizing becomes even more important.

We need to change the way we communicate effectively. More graphics, more pictures, more visuals is the way of the future.

Have you ever tried looking into a person eyes and know what are they thinking about? Are we perceiving using our senses via visual, kino, feelings and thinking or are we using our audio (hearing)? It is also a common knowledge that more than 80% of communication is done via body language rather than sounds. But, the wonders of internet really move us and propel us to the future.

i believe in the future, humans will communicate between themselves using visual and kino only. Its an evolution. Maybe human 100 years down the road will use their mobile devices to communicate. Perhaps something like a super chip that transmite informations implanted into their body. We will be having our meeting at Starbucks, one from Rio de Janeiro, one from London and another from Tokyo, by using only a super LCD projector screen looking at each other without actually speaking. We will be communication via that super chip implanted into our body, remember? The world will be peaceful and very quiet then. Hahahaha.

So, remember, don't blame and angry with your wife/husband, your boyfriend/girlfriend, family or friends if they SEEMS not to be listening. Its not that they are not listening. its just evolutionary that we communicate via our LCD screen through our monitor.

People changed, we have changed. Be prepared!

Zap.... .... ....

................. ................. .................... .........................

I am lost for words now. I am blank. I felt disturbed.

The whole damn world is in calamity now. Everyday what you read in news is all about natural disaster. Flooding in the southern China, typhoon in Phillipines, farry sank killing 700 in Phillipines, flooding in United States and those aftermath of quake in Sichuan in China, cyclone hitting Myanmar and much more.

I think the earth hates us so much now. As a population. Killing her softly perhaps over the ages throughout the history of man. -_-

Business and economics is at very low as well. Oil prices at sky high, American going to attack Iran, America housing market at their lowest, US dollars dropping like crazy, average Malaysian going down hard and etc blah blah blah.

Too much bad news. All negativity around me.

I think i will go into meditate mode now and try to stay positive. Or perhaps forget everything that makes us feeling like shit. Maybe what we need right now, as an average citizens of the world is to solve some of the things THAT we need to make the future livable for out next generation.

>_<

p.s. maybe Malaysia is going to snow soon. Why not? We had tsunami and earthquake before. -_-

Fitness and Me

I am lost for words and i am idealess now. Perhaps, i am drained of inspiration to write something nice and fun, which is not me btw, or simply i need to recharge myself by making me having fun again. Full of life and vigours, the essense of the inner self, within me. Haha.

I've been hitting the gym recently and i am glad. I felt great although i have been hit by the stupid weather (raining for the pass 5 days, drizzling and raining, non-stop) ensuring me having the stupid headache. Arghhh..... !1!1!1!!!!! But, overall, it felt good and i am very, very determine (and i meant it), very determine to lost 10% of my weight and build some muscles. In short, looking good physically! LoL!

My regime is simple but of course, it will not be easy. What i need is to focus focus focus and focus on my goals. The picture that i imagine within my head of what i want to be. A relentless pursue of my dreams and goals, of my physical self 3 months down the road. Let me break down my goals to ya (i believe that anyone should state their goals and voice it out to make it a statement to make it happen):

1. Control my diet
Meaning watch what i put in my mouth. Less carbo, less rice, more fruits and less supper! Easier said than done, but of course, every weekend i'll splurge myself on some nice tasty delicious food. Only on weekends.

2. Go for cardio
Hit the treadmill, that spinning class, that bike and blah blah, for 60 minutes every time i hit the gym (which is 3-4 times/week). A combination of walking, jogging and hitting that max heart beating zone of running for a minute, while having a blast of music at both my ears!

3. Go for Strength
Hit that resistance machine with the combination of free weight. Pre-planned of upperbody workout for one day followed by abs and legs workout the next following gym day. Of course, my current focus would be on losing weight 1st rather than to build that freaking muscle mass up. Hence, the need to do like 3 sets of 20 repetitions pumping an area of muscle, eg biceps.

4. Walk more
I mean, its a norm here to walk and walk, as compared to what our lifestyle and our climate in Malaysia. Its a norm for us to walk 30 minutes in here, or even cycle to anywhere in the city. Weather is good, and you see everyone anywhere walking and cycling in China. Its healthy and its good. It is proven, that, if you walk and cut down on the food and carbo intake everyday, trust me, you will see a huge difference at your waistline. I've tried it and its proven!

5. FOCUS
This is the most important issue IMHO. I mean, i've seen and tried countless times, that an average person that hits the gym have the hardest time maintaining that consistency. Everyone loses their focus and gives up too easily. They give reasons and excuses to themselves. Its part of the bringing up, i supposed. I've learned that and i am not going to repeat that mistake again. Its a commitment i gave myself. I have not yet to have physical strength yet, thus, i need to make it up for by having an unwavering of a solid mental strength to compensate for it now.

In general, they are 2 types of strength in athletes, physical strength and mental strength IMHO. Physical strength is those that what we see in athletes, running that mile under 6 minutes? I mean, those that can jog and run and jog with that stamina, endurance and strength that you just wish for, anyway. Mental strength is those athletes that you see, that they have those goals and focus in their mind that wouldn't give up. They have absolute unwavering positive mindset within them to accomplish their goals. They don't even know how losing is. Its just not in their mind, the word of losing. Someone like Lance Armstrong, the winner of Le Tour de France for 7 seasons in a row.

Hence, i understood this, that i need to accept the fact and truth. I ain't gonna run away from it anymore not give myself reasons and excuses blinding me and myself. I am accepting the fact. The fact that i am overweight. And the fact that i need to change it and it is not going to b easy. It is going to be tiring and it is hard. I have accepted the fact that i need to sacrifice something within me, to change my results. I believe that i can do it and i am doing it. Simple but not easy. Change in action = Change in results.

I live by the words, you only live once. Why not make something happen out of it? Its your life anyway. What happen at the end, is what you are doing now. Its just that simple. Hence, i am going to make something happen. I am going to change. I am picturing myself 6 months down the road having that good image of myself looking good in the mirror. I felt great and i felt positive.

Looking forward and see myself in 3 months!

:)

Quotes!

I love these quotes:

Napoleon Bonaparte

1. Impossible is a word only to be found in the dictionary of fools.

2. All religions have been made by men.

3. Religion is what keeps the poor man from murdering the rich.

4. Courage is like love; it must have hope to nourish it.

5. Death is nothing, but to live defeated and inglorious is to die daily.

6. Imagination rules the world.

7. Riches do not consist in the possession of treasures, but in the use made of them.

8. Soldiers generally win battles; generals get credit for them.

9. The human race is governed by its imagination.

10. The surest way to remain poor is to be an honest man.

When i look upon these words and lines of wisdom from someone who lives years ago, gloriously! makes me wonder the truth beneath the lines of words from them. Some might be true and some might not.

But generally, i know the quotes above, are true in every sense and every angle. Try to imagine upon it and think about our current scenario around the world today. The only improvements i notice between our time now againsts hundreds of years ago would be the speed of change.

Almost anyone nowadays can be a general of their own war, someone with power and influence enough to command in their networks of influence. Someone for instance, media baron controlling the news, like Rupert Murdoch, the chairman and founder of News Corp. Powerful weapon that influence the mass populations.

Someone younger controlling the online media world, such as Larry Page and Sergey Brin, the founders of Google, controlling the skies of our daily computing and needs of information. Or perhaps, Steve Jobs, founder of Apple Computers. Ever changing the revolution of how we communicate and our lifestyles, that evolves an army of fans globally wishing to get that latest iPhone 3G.

More, i can quote and tell you. But, generally i believe those quotes by Napoleon Bonaparte is very true to its basic sense. Go on. Read more and understand more. Maybe you need some extra challenge in your head to crack a few nuts.

We are Doomed!

Updated on 13th June 2008: WTFKNNCCBSHLMK!1!1!1!1! I mean, this man is a super hero man! Please read here to for 1. LYAO or 2. Curse him for being so ignorant! I mean, he is totally hopeless! He wanted 40 kids now!

OMG! Fucker! See the pictures of his family! All smiling so happily >_< (Of course, being happy is good la!) but don't he realised that his fucking everday makes all average Malaysian tax payer suffers more? Don't his wife know anything about birth control? Is there no condom sold in Kuala Terengganu? Or simply he do not know the technique of pulling before cumming? OMG!

What i can't take it no more, is he still so PROUDLY claiming a technique to the media and news about this skills and "strong" manhood! SO fucking egomaniac man that is so fucking proud that he has the skills, 4 wives and soon to be 40 kids~ >_< I rest my case and bear it no more.

Really a truly Malaysia Boleh story!

p.s: This piece of news of this fucker did really make Malaysia into spotlight. Last night, CNN did really display his piece of story into their news. Yes! He made it in international news, CNN. Malaysia Boleh!

-_-

I am going to laugh my ass off! This is what i read from online news, funny crappy news about the general characteristics of some "out-of-city" populations. The Star and Malaysiakini are my normal daily dosage of news updates from homeland and this piece of crap is what i get from The Star. Hahahaha!

I am totally feeling funny and laughing my ass off when i read this piece of crap. Perhaps its their choices. Who knows? Maybe they are really that strong or maybe their tenaga batin is great, since maybe they learn some silat or taking tongkat ali daily! Hahaha!

I am says and i must reinstate it again. Those Malaysian who complains are mostly those middle income group Malaysians. Those who are not complaining are normally the elites, the rich and famous + rich ass individual. Let me breakdown this to the numerical order:

1. 1% Super Ultra Rich Multi-Millionaires / Billionaires - No issue nor complain since fuel increase in price. They don't feel the pinch. Their electricity bill are mountin' up to 5 figures monthly that includes their several houses, homes and condominiums globally. Their family's pets grooming maybe costing more than your average monthly salary.

2. 9% Rich Millionaires - Some issue with them, not much, just a pinch of pain. They have to make some corrections to their spending power. They have to shop less Gucci and Louis Vuitton handbagS. Instead, they only can buy their bags once every 6 months instead of once a month. They only can change their BMW once every 2-3 years now instead of once a year.

3. 40% Middle Income Group - Heavy issue and most affected group. They work their ass off like robots and zombies everyday in hope that they will have a better future and a better livelihood. Just like Horation Alger stories. Alas, perhaps in dreams and hopes. Like story of Cinderalla, or Snow White! Forever happy ever after! Now they realise that the dream is very expensive since that our fuel price increase by 40%. Hey! Even horse carry cartridges need fuel to run nowadays. You think what? Run on air? ...

4. 50% Poor and Out-of-City Citizens - These categories are the most amazing group ever. If they are poor and sad, chances is they are not farming, not raring chicken or cows in the backyard. They are affected, of course, but since that they travel mostly in their kampungs and villages, they only need a motor bike or bicycle to travel around. Damn cheap!

Anyway, they are always struggling regardless of the situation of the economy. They monthly wages is not enough all the time. They work on daily pay. If they make 10% more that month, they will go on shopping spree. Even on a RM100 bonus! I've seen it with my own bare eyes.

In addition to this group of people, that i simply put as "out-of-city" citizens, mainly due to some specific reasons. I believe that their mind are categorized as too simple and perhaps 50 years aback? Read the story from The Star to know why. I tell you, i laugh all the way non stop for few minutes until i realise that our problems in country currently are not really affected by these group of people.

C'mon man. 25 kids ranging from 25 years old to 4 months toddler fathered by a 54 years old man working as a property negotiator. Can you realise the picture of the story of this man? 4 wives. OMG!

He added, "As long as I can afford another wife and am strong, I don’t see why I can’t marry," added Abu Bakar. OMG! 2x >_<

All the freaking fucking middle class group of citizens felt screwed by the government. This particular individual is more concerned about his ability to perform erection and make more kids. He and his 4 wives have absolutely no concern about the education, the futures of his kids, the economic viability of raising a kid. All that he knows is that, fucking 4 wives is better than 1. OMG! Fucking animal! Perhaps the only thing that get screwed in his family is his wives. Daily. 25 kids at age 54 and still continues to produce. Hahahaha. Classic!

No wonder the $$$ in our government pool of subsidy keep on deplenishing and not enough all the time. Now you know where our tax $$$ goes. Calculate the rational and simple maths.

25 kids born in government hospital + 25 kids going for free medical test at government hospital + 25 kids going to get some government school books + 25 kids going to public unversity despite low unimaginable results = tens of thousands of dollars + unrecognisable potential loss of $$$ and other potential future values (other more potential kids denied place in university despite scoring better results, other families denied bed spaces for their kids in public hospital and blah blah blah)

Can he afford private hospital for delivery of his babies? I doubt so based on his RM20,000 income a month as a property negotiator. Wake up man! Negotiator meaning income fluatuates monthly. No fix income. Sometimes low and sometimes high! Sometimes you gets nothing / month.

Plus he has 25 kids la. Buying baby diaper and baby milk is affordable for 25 kids? Are you joking? Some families are struggling to feed a family of 4 with income of RM20,000/month. What the hell is he talking and murmuring about?

Of course, unless, he gets government assistance, government subsidies and our tax $$$$ all the way la. And of course also, that i doubt that he thinks about his future, his family futures and his children futures as well. All that in his mind, are enjoy fucking the wives and make more babies. Financially, not to worry too much, the government is here to help. What to fear?

Just imagine what kind of subsidy and government assistance he got since the day he got his 1st wife and his 1st baby got delivered until the 25th baby? I can name more than 10 kind of subsidy with my eyes closed.

>_<

I can see several simple big scenarios from his story. Let me break it down:

1. Population of Bumis are going to get bigger. His 1 dick = 25 kids, Chinese average dick = 2 kids, Indian dick = 2 -3 kids. Just imagine! My god! 100 Malay "out-of-city" dick = 2500 kids! 100 is a small number by the way. They are so productive in their work. Sperm Bank factory tauke.

2. Our chinese and indian counter parts can be minority in a matter of years. There will not be any more spaces or seats available for our students in government universities. How can enough with our NEP and seats based on skin-color? Another 20 more years to go. No need to wait and see. You know it already by now. In 100 Malaysians, total of 80% is going to be Malay, 10% is going to be Indon origin (going to granted Bumi status) and the rest is Chinese and Indian and other small group of minorities.

3. A lot of not-too educated Malaysians 20 years down the road. This 1 is what i think and what i judge based on simple theories. I believe education starts from home. It starts from parents showing them the examples. Instead of telling them what to do. Yeah! Its true. How many of us students really can remember what the teachers says? But we remember that our parents tells us not to smoke but still smoke in front of us. I believe in WE LEARN THROUGH COPYING our parents example. Not from them telling us what to do.

Now back to the story of this person of 25 kids, what do you think he and his wives will teach his kids? Do you think that he leads through examples of success, rich and be hardworking? Yeah, hardworking in fucking his 4 wives everyday la. If he is that hardworking in his career and making more $$$s, then i do not think that he will have the time and leisure to have 25 kids. Perhaps, he is sitting down at the kedai kopi by that junction with his 4 friends smoking Sampoerna A cigarettes with a leg up at the bench served with his teh tarik tongkat ali boosting his ego mentioning he is going to get a new wife to fuck tonight. In addition serving up his ego would be his ability to "perform" and make his 4 wives satisfy every night, thus, making 25 kids. Then, what happen is that 4 little useless friends who drives around in Proton Saga or motorcycle will go back to his hut and complain to his wife that the guy friend marry his 4th wife today and how lucky he is.

>_<

OMG! I can continue to story of this version la. Hahahaha! I've seen too much from the average kampung guys that lives in my hometown. I heard enough stories from my mom about the laziness of kampung malay guys. How they sneak out and work like donkey for that peanuts pay and his daily wages, so that he will have some $$$ to eat that day. Pathetic! But they are happy that way. What can you do? 2x -_-

I am truly feeling miserable myself for being a common class middle income group. Stacked in the middle of a "matrix" feelalike zone between the rich class and the poor class of people.

I need to get out and climb the zone la! Sick and tired of it + i don't feel like complain too much about it as i realised that nothing much can be done. Plus so slow as well, going though the stupid government bureaucrat that gets nothing done. Layers and layers of bullshit!

>_<

I rather sit down and think about the humor of the man, man! 25 kids!

Out!

Big Picture in Me

I know i am not a economists nor i have a wide 30 years of experience in this area. I am just a simple person who observe, read and think about situations. I try to understand the thing we call as "life".

Some of us are blessed with a more instinctive and more intuitive sense than others, especially ladies. Some use it to better and bigger benefits, such as understand how a bigger picture is formed in this freaking world of capitalism. Some use it for their own gain, own pleasure and some even use it on their partners, being able to sense their feeling and thinking. :)

Using this sense properly and effectively will greatly assist you in your life. Trust me! It does. You will be able to perceive situation faster and more accurately compare to a logical and judgemental person. What we need is more facts and informations to conform with our instincts and intuition to prove that we are absolutely right. From there, we shall have more confidence and our confidence will grow along the way.

I am using this sense more confidently now in my life. But i look and feel the bigger picture of the freaking world. Of course, some might judge me as idealists, but hey, we need idealists in this world. If not, how does that iPhone landed at your hand? Why indeed do you want to upgrade your car to that newer version that looks better? Just use a old FORD pickup la. >_<

I am beginning to believe greatly in my senses and i know i am correct.

I believe this world is divided into different classes categories of population. Some are born poor, some are born average and some are borned into the world of wealth and abundance.

I refer back at the current scenario of the aftermath of the petrol hike back in Malaysia. Our government decided to increase 40% in the fuel hikes. I think millions of people protested, complains, whines and screams out to voice their anger and displeasure. These are the general populations of poor and average citizens. They are anywhere in the world. I know i am in that category currently.

They live in a mediocre lifestyle. They pinch their pennies and count their monthly wages with a sigh ," Why so little one? Not enough la!" They are average and generally categorise in the 80% of the population. They exists everywhere and any part of the world. They exists in America, they exists in Japan, they exists in Africa and every each part of the world will exists this category of class of people.

For example, are there no poor people in America? Are there no poor people in Russia and China? Plentiful i mind you. Aren't they have the same problem as us, oil hikes? Do they have no problem of retirement as well? You really think that their government have that much of reserves to take care of everyone especially since the medical costs are going to the sky?

Of course, yeah, i agree that conditions are different. Their income and tax structure are different. Their benefits as citizens are different as well. Well, i agree. Americans and Aussies have a greater benefits than the rest of us. Yeah.

The key question is, what can you do about it? Losers will whine and do nothing, while winners will think and give themselves reasons to move. Thats the key!

Now, back to the story. What about the 20% of the population of rich and wealthy? Do they have so much of livelihood problem? Yes and no. Yes, because they have to pay more for their maid now and no, their Mercedes is still park outside at the compound.

Hah! They are of course the rich ones, comprising of those millionaires and billionaires tycoons, those well-off datuks, those business leaders, those CEOs and COOs, those family from a rich background and etc etc etc. They are not really affected by these small little issues of petrol price increase, but instead their problem is much more bigger. The changes in legislation, law and regulations of the government will affect them the mosts.

Lets make a simple ABC scenario to feel and think about it.

Scenario 1: Oil hikes 40% to RM2.70/litre. Those 80% of population will be affected the most as per capita income for average Malaysians is low and one thirth of average Brits and Americans. An average Malaysians spends almost 25% to 40% of their monthly incomes on transportations; ie their car mortgage, their fuel, their tolls and etc etc ect.

Meanwhile, those 20% of the population, will not be affected much.

WHY? If you were to ask me? Do they still drive their S-class with their driver? Do they still take helicopter to work? Do they still take their Porsche Cayenne 4 wheel drive Turbo to go to work everyday? Do they still switch on 5 air-cons at night for comfort? Do they still shop at Cold Storage instead of the wet market? Do they still eat Japanese food that cost RM100/person for a meal (please read here)?

Look bigger still. Look globally. Do you think those hedge fund traders and futures traders at Wall Street care about your well being in Malaysia? Do you think that they really cares? Do you think that Cristiano Ronaldo will donate 10% of his weekly salary to support your complaint? (Which, by the way, he makes more than 100,000 pound sterling/week in UK, i think)

Yeah maybe. Minimal chances, i believe. Do you seriously think that Obama and Clinton in America really have the ability to reduce the oil prices back to the old days of USD30/barrel, or that they also can influence their own American defense and military equipment company to stop producing weapons and ammo for their soldiers in Iraq? Chances are the senators in America will continue to vote for the weapons manufacturer in States to continue making ammos and upgraded new weapons.

Maybe the new world order is coming. But chances are slim, i can tell ya. You can carry on hoping. Same as hoping that the government will demolish the rights of malay in Malaysia. Hope la!

Instead of blaming the government and the whole wide world for the increase of oil prices and the inflation that goes to the sky, why not look in the mirror? Which, by the way, inflation are real and you can't buy a chicken rice for RM3 bucks anymore. K.

Look into the mirror and ask yourself. Stop blaming those bigger force out there that you have no control of . Change yourself would be a better shot. I think you have a better chance that way. Chances are that you can be better and richer by changing your mindset. And then of course, sacrifice your daily habits and routines to be better and richer.

Change and grab that fucking opportunity that comes along. I've seen countless Malaysians that have succeeded from poverty. They are rich now and are not too concern about the petrol hikes. For them, regardless for any increase of price, those who suffers are not them, but consumers. Those rich individuals still dine at French restaurants and eat at Overseas restaurant. You really think they can sit at the mamak stall and eat Nasi Lemak Ayam Merah everyday? -_-

I mean, let i reinstated again, i am not an economists nor i have a masters in economics. But, i have a keen observation mindset and attitude. I might be wrong. You'll be the judge. Time will tell.

P.S: I am still going to have my Japanese buffet and i am still going to have my Thai food this weekend. What recession?

Delusions of a Common Man

I am feeling very different this time at this moment. Feeling of delusion, if you were to ask me. I am very blur and felt very funny at this moment.

Why?

Reading and feeling how our fellow common men aka our friends, our countrymen and all that we know, are suffering from the situation right now. The sufferings and the complainings of the daily livelihood. The rise in the daily expenses, the rise of fuel prices, their low income monthly. I know it and i can feel it.

Even i believe our government is suffering from it too. The control is not within them. We are all at mercy of the world situation now and i believe those who will reap the benefits (not reward) will be those oil barons, oil traders in the America and those in the Middle Easts. You think that our Petronas is huge? It is tiny and its a public knowledge that our oil in the state of Terengganu is going to run out unless our dear Petronas go and compete internationally to find more oils. Go check out Petrobras, CNOOC, ExxonMobil and the rest of these oil companies to know and understand better. Our small little Petronas is just a small player in the market. Talk about the grandeur of fellow Malaysians.

Back to our Malaysia. You see, our government is elected through our citizens, in short, our rakyats, every 4 years once. Fellow Malaysians elect their representative from their area and from there, those who are elected, will represent them (in their political parties) to form a government. Hence, BN (Barisan Nasional in Malaysia) in the parliament.

The logic is simple. Democratic parties needs support from citizens to vote for them in order to become a government and by logic, 80% of our citizens in Malaysia are poor and struggling given their status in life. Only a handful, 20% of the populations are rich, well off above their fellow men. This 20 / 80 rules applies and is refered as rule of pareto.

Now, back to the main point, if you were to be given a choice, which one do you want to be?

The 20% or the 80% of the population?

20% are those who are born rich and wealthy, and they will not have much of a complain due to the excessive amount of money and assets they have with them. Even their interests from banks, cash flows from businesses and money coming in from assets is so abundance and so exuberance, that they will be mostly, disconnected with the rest of the society.

Meanwhile, 80% of the population, will ever continue to suffer from their class of society and their lack of wealth. Struggling everyday to make ends meet, scratchin here and there and hope that government will be able to help them. Voicing their opinions and complaining and whining are the only channel available. Some of them have choices and opportunities in the path of their lives. Some take the challenge and make a change, like me. And majority of them resists it, due to the fear of change, i believe.

These categories of people are so blur and so used to their life, that they fear the word change. They are comfortable being poor and struggling that they will find reasons NOT TO GET RICH. Its real. Go and ask them. They will give you 1000 reasons why they cannot do it. All they need is 1 reason powerful enough to make them realised the truth (truely realise) and their life will change. Sadly few men will do it.

But, on the positive note, its good for individuals like me, coz of these, i will have fewer competitions and more opportunities! Damn! Feels good to be the cream of the crop!

No doubt about it. Government need these 80% of the people to vote for them every 4 years. But of course, given the lack of choices to choose from, more than often, the people will suffer all the time for their choices. Perhaps it boils down to the narrow view, the lack of the big picture understanding.

Give these families of poor who lives in the hut in a kampung next to the jungle RM50 and a pack of rice and sugar, they will vote for them. Don't you agree? Those small little ass politicians will of course, mostly, pocket their benefits 1st. Then of course, to their family and circle of friends. And of course, lastly those left over benefits to the people who vote for them. Talk about the system.

Common men and middle class will still, need to keep a job, make end meets and carry out their daily responsibilities. While carry on hoping and have a picture of Horatio Alger in them. The hope that one day, they will become rich. Or their kids will, if they were to fail. Hoping. The Horatio Alger or the story of the rag to riches story will happen to them.

But understand this. No changes to your action, no changes to your results. No rich mindset, no money in your pocket. No sacrifice, no victory. Its simple. Buts is hard.

Newton Law of Motions, "To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction"

Meaning, for everything to happen in your life, please make and do some action.

I think i need to do some reflection today and make my next step. A drastic change to my mindset, my activity and my action. I believe. To those who thinks a same wavelength as i do, perhaps we need to focus and discuss more.

Au Revoir!

Random: Check out the Blogs!

I have 2 things i wanna write today. 2 very contrasting sites that i read recently. Both sites touches my inner self. One site touches my feeling of anger and feeling frustrated as hell. Knowing about the current situation in my country. Its ridiculous. Go read it more and understand the real story that happens in Malaysia.

The story about a devastated mother, who is a teacher by profession, and her daughter in Malaysia. Heart touching story!

I am feeling pitiful for them. Maybe we can write something up and make this a bigger story to create an issue for the ministers in charge, so that they can do something about it. >_<
