Hong Kong: Day 2

Continued from the previous post HK Day 1.

Here i am 2nd day in HK waking up particularly earlier since i slept at 5am? Hahahaha. I take that nice clean refreshing bath at Mingle Place Hotel, the hotel that i stayed 2 nights in HK with a pleasant experience. I went out and go to Yau Ma Tei by subway. Rather packed i feel, during the day light.

P.S: Surprisingly and to my shocking, the subway system in HK have service till 12.50am at city center? Basically, its a 24/7 city that never sleeps with commuters, Hongkies and basically everyone sleeps late, very late.

I went to this cinema, Broadway Cinema and catch my Dark Knight! WooooooHoooooo! My 1st experience of watching a movie in Hong Kong. I paid a sum of HKD 50 for midday noon session. The movie itself was fantastic! Plus of course, the overall enjoyment and filling up my stomach with popcorn and coke after a long miss-out session of movies in Shanghai, which is, even more expensive! Hahahaha.

I then went to across the strait to Hong Kong island! I went by subway, which is the cheapest option rather than by cab. Costs me HKD12 to cross the sea! Basically my plan is to get myself to Hong Kong Convention Center and some other places to snap some pictures and photos. Shopping itself is ok but not that important as it is not in my lists of things to do.

Here i am, went out of the wrong subway station, and i got off at Admiralty station, which, i walk to the seaside for some photo taking since i was there. Then, i proceed to Hong Kong Convention Center under the blaring sunlight and sweaty afternoon. Basically, the main thing about the Hong Kong Island is people, buildings, people and buildings. To common people, who loves serenity and nature, please do not go to Hong Kong. You will suffocate and have a major kickass stressful trip to Hong Kong. But, i love it, since that i am a people's person and i like to be in major huge kick ass city. It gives me energy, it drives me and simply loving it!

I hang out for a while at Hong Kong Convention Center before i proceed to walk around the island nearby by foot. I decided to skip the subway and walk myself from the bay to Central, which is 2 to 3 stations away. It is rather far (at least 30 minutes by foot) and got myself exposed to the people and buildings yet again. I did managed to get myself into some small boutiques that sells replicas of t-shirts and pants.

By the time i reach to the bottom of Bank of China, the kick-ass building in Hong Kong, i was drenched in my own sweat, i decided to forgo central district for now and i went back to Temple Street in New Territories. It was around 8pm. I was definitely in short of time.

I got myself walking yet again at the area around Temple Street. I reached this famous street that sells some superly expensive and over price souvenir items for tourists. I snap some photos and got myself out of that street in less than 30 minutes? And i proceed to a char chan teng yet again for a meal of Cantonese fast food. Got my nice little 3 pork dish + salted egg and a yin yong ice!

I was rushing. I rushed back to hotel for a quick nice bath at 10pm. I need to get myself out to Lan Kwai Fong! The famous bar area in Central, Hong Kong Island! LKF is basically the hip and happening night area that features all the most happening major kickass pubs and clubs in Hong Kong.

Got myself there after dressing up and reached there at 11.30pm. The last subway train back to TST is at 12.45am and i have approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to get myself a beer, some liquor and photos snapping. *LKF is a place for expat perhaps? I see mostly expat and a lot of working crowd there!*
I went to Volar Hong Kong and have chilled out drink cum enjoy myself at the bar. I also went to the RACKS Hong Kong. Due to the time that i visited Hong Kong, is on a weekday, the crowd is at minimal but still enough for me to experience that place. The only one place that i did not visited on my trip was Beijing Club in LKF due to private function. Missed out!

I even seen a damn bright yellow Lamborghini parked by the road side next to Beijing Club. Freaking hell! Hongkies are so rich! *Feel like sitting inside the car feeling the steering and pumping the gas!*

I then went off back to TST by subway at 12.45am, reaching there around 1am. I was not satisfied. I decided to check out a club in TST, name Club PP. I look and walk and look around for it. I managed to find this club out at 2.00am and the timing is just nice. To my shock, i found out that there are scores of people queuing up to buy ticket to watch Dark Knight at 3.30am. I found out that there will be another show at 5.30am at Tuesday night? And i mind you, its Tuesday at 3.30am. Hahaha! Suits my lifestyle perfectly.

I went in to this Club PP, which is located next to this cinema and paid a sum of HKD 300 for entrance (i'm a guy and therefore, i have to pay) and got myself a ticket for 2 drinks in the house. Went in and found out that the security was rather strict, which is good, since it is gonna be safer in the club. You do not want to have 1 drunkass taking a sword out from his bag and starts to slash people around in the club, are you? Check them out at www.clubpp.com.hk for more information.

I dance and listens to the pumping of American Hip Hop music and the pumping of the bass all night long. Surprisingly, there are hardly any good dancer around that have the moves, or perhaps i went in at the wrong day! Hahahaha.

I left at 5am and went back to hotel for some much needed rest since i have been awaken for like 20 hours? I was not sleepy nor i was tired. My heart is pumping with energy and adrenaline like a volcano full of hot lava. I am too excited to sleep!

I know that i need to rest because i am going to Macau in the next daylight! WooooooOOOOOooooooHOOOOooooooOOOOO! I know that i am going to another round of sleepless night in Macau with all the casinos and places to visit!

Got myself checkout at 12pm and proceed for a quick lunch around the hotel before taking the subway to Sheung Wan in Hong Kong Island. There lies the jetty ferry to go to Macau in a short 1 hour trip journey to Macau island!

Until then and further reports in Macau, au revoir!
