Bad People Management

I hate autocratic system and authoritarian. I was talking with 1 of my friend online last night. He was like shock and got a culture shock when he gets back from UK and starts to work in the corporate environment in Asia. And its only in Malaysia. It gets worst in China.

The working culture and the way the system of working in Asia is totally different from developed countries such as UK or States. Yeah! Maybe in UK/States they still exist, but its only minority compare to that in KL or Asia. Its still hugely affected and majority of the companies still have this deep root in them, the culture of authoritarian and the mindset " i'm your superior, you must listen to me" kinda culture.

I've seen the bad side of people management in China. For instance, i've seen 1 lady superior working in a restaurant. She just scolded her staff furiously in front of the customer and in front of all the colleagues. The way she scolded is like a teacher scolding a primary student for skipping school or done some huge mistakes.

I was like stunned and surprised that the event took place in front of me. But, it is absolutely normal for them in China. If i was in that position, i would have ... ! All of these scolding and suffering for a meagre of perhaps 1k RMB of monthly pay, which if we are to convert, RM460 perhaps?

Its degrading and its humiliating. It does not serve any human rights at all. But, who are we to decide what right and what wrong when we are not involved into it... Sad side of story. But if i'm the owner of that business, i would have done something about it. But its not my call on that day.

So the morale of the story is... You decide and let me know. Out!

Good Liver, Happy Man :)

Yeah! Finally. I am so damn freaking happy and delighted now due to the fact i went for the medical test for liver functions this morning. I've been dieting and eating like a vegetarian for the last 3 weeks to a month. I did not consume any alcoholic drinks nor i did drink plenty of coffee ice nor milk. I eat very healthily for the last couple of weeks. Only soupy noodles, white rice with little veggies, drink plenty of chinese teas that varies from oolong ginseng, green tea and bittergourd tea. I eat vitamin and liver supplements. I even can consider myself as vitamin junkie. I eat lecithin, livergard, milk thistle, dandelion, multivits and etc. I slept early these couple of days and rest at home more.

The result is... I managed to reduce my ALT (Liver function test) for 33 points exactly! OMG! Its like damn huge jump! All the while, my ALT point is like hanging around 85++ for more than 3 months. Previously before i came to China, its even higher due to the diet and beer i consume in KL and its like around 95 for a very long time. Perhaps it is also due to the sleeping pattern i've been going through for the last half a year before i came to work in China. Was sleeping very late!

For the last 3 months, my ALT is hanging around 85++ and with all my due diligence and hard work + supplements + chinese teas = 53 points now! Wahahahaha! Damn happy! I hope that with my due diligence and all the hard work i've put in, i will managed to secure a god-damn-work permit here! Tomorrow i'll be going early in the morning to the "official" hospital to do 1 more time for the "official" blood test for the work permit application and by evening i'm going to get the results. Hope that everything is going to be smooth and fine!

Yeah! Happy man now! 50% happy 1st... reserving another 50% when i officially get the official results and secure my work permit! Pray for me! :) Yay!

P.S. : By the way, all of these results and diets and discipline could not have been done without the help of my dear darling who have been supporting me. She bought me liver supplements and tea leaves. She help me to check online for the more accurate information about this and that medicine. Sometimes, i think that she is now more qualified to give out liver ALT advise than some normal dietician or pharmacist. I really thank her for that. Thank you darling! :)

Cold, Freezing and Diet!

OMFG! I'm so damn cold right now! Every night every morning, after wake up, while sitting at the dining table writing this blog or watching a DVD on my notebook, my hands will freeze. I've bought a black knitted glove from the supermarket the other day. It helps to keep my hands warmer during the walk out to have my dinner. I am so cold and its not even winter yet. The temperature lowest is around 10 degree celcius tonight. They predicted that the coming 2 days at night, it is going to drop below 8 degrees at night. OMFG! And its only approaching end of Autumn. Winter is coming and its just around the corner. I am now wondering how am I going to pass my time during the period.

I am feeling funny. I've changed my diet completely. I drank oolong or green tea everyday now. I bought a tupperware that fills tea and filters the leaves and i brought it to my office where i drank my green tea + bittergourd tea everyday. At night, i drank my favourite oolong ginseng tea with pot. I smoke as usual. I've not eaten any meat for the last month. I basically lost touch with the taste of meat in my tongue. All of this is for the sake of my medical checkup.

I have a goal right now in my mind. Th goal is to pass my medical checkup as soon as possible and i hope it can be this week. The reward i gave myself is:

1. Pouring beer, booze, lager, alcohol down my throat.
2. Have a good damn farking nice medium ribeye steak with chips at XinTianDi.
3. Drinking nice super cocktail and beer again.
4. Have a nice meal that consist of meat, chicken, beef, fish, seafood and hopefully its buffet!

I keep reminding myself of the reward once i pass my medical. OMG! Shit... Its so cold here and it is just simply awesome perfect fabulous magnificent to have few bottles of beers, red wine, vodka, JD with Coke serving with ciggies and sitting down here enjoying the environment of coolness. Just simply too sweet to imagine.

Meanwhile, i'll keep my fingers crossed to get my medical approved ASAP. Please, god, help me!

Sony or IPOD

I was wondering right now whether to get an ipod or a Sony walkman phone for myself in the near future. Coz i was wondering about it for quite sometime and i really like the idea that i can chill out with the tunes and music that i like when i am in a journey whether to a nearby destination, or to overseas and while waiting for example at a coffee lounge in the airport.

It is definitely cooler to get an ipod i assume as everyone is getting one for themselves these days. But i am thinking about the viability and the mobility for a guy when we are moving here and there with our notebook, baggage, 2 handphones, ciggys and etc in our pocket. There are just too many things to carry around in the 2 small little pocket. So the question also lies with the mobility from my point of view...

I need to get my phone change as well in the near future to something that i like. Big screen, huge memory, nice camera with min 2 megapixel lens at least, maybe a built in walkman that plays mp3,wma format and have a simple buttons and simple screens and menus that does not confused me :) I'm an idiot and i am a stone.

Well, what do you think? Can anyone give me ideas...?

Remembering those times...

Today is Sunday 28th of Oct 2007. Several more days to go before my full 27th birthday...Getting old apparently and moving itching closer to the end of 20's. Felt great but funny though remembering all the time and how fast time really flies.

I still remember the last 1o years from 1997, when i just finish graduated from my high school getting going into college. Still remember that in those days, the mind is still so naive and so young not knowing anything at all. Life back then is more like of just hanging out and lepaking without any consideration for our future.

Back 1999, then the countdown for the new mellinia comes, i was partying with few of my friends at the Subang Airport for one of the biggest rave those days. We were like started to be at the lineup at around 7pm, being feared not to have enough tickets to go in and found out that we are too early. Those days, cyber cafes are like the heaven for the weekend. Counter-strike are the fav game of the century...We have to lineup at cyber cafes to get a space to get in to play this game :)

Back in 2001, ending of the year, i get to know my darling and we went to Penang for our 1st nice trip! We were going here and there and just enjoying our accompanion everywhere. We "officially" starting to go out and date on 24th Dec 2001. I still remember the day where we ate at a steak house at Penang island opposite The Ship.

I started my 1st official job at Citibank at the tender age of 21 on the 1st Jan 2002. Life move on from there and i learned. I fall and i climb back. I fall again and i learn and climbs again. My spirit is just full of burning fires and desires. I am not tired and i will run faster. I am and i am still. I will be better and i will be successful. I am getting smarter and more open everyday.

I remember also back in the year 2004 July the 30th i pronounce my wedding oath to my darling... :) Life is just so sweet and i am feeling great and happy thinking about these times. On the 2006 Sept 18th comes the sweetest most happiest, cutest boy, Romeo to this wonderful world. I am feeling very happy and feeling a sense of belonging in the heart of mine. I felt soft and i felt damn good.

I will further continue to remember and i will always cherish all these moments in my memory for eternity. I love you both...

Saturday at Shanghai

I left to Shanghai on Friday directly after work on the perfect evening, served with chillness and coolness of the air, planned and prepared for the weekend at this magnificent place. We took a ride with our colleague who stays in Shanghai. We reached Shanghai Puxi South area around 7pm and proceed to find the ever nice HomeInn Hotel at CaoBaoLu, nearby to Xujiahui.

By the time we checked in, we make a move to Metro Plaza in Xujiahui by cab and have our nice dinner at the food court, Mee Siam with a set of toasted bread, 2 half boiled eggs and a glass of ice coffee. Just perfect! We then proceed with Metro going to HuaiHai Lu and walk about there. Apparently Huaihai Lu is adjacent to Nanjing Dong Lu and has much more shops and malls to walk about. There are Isetan, H & M, Shanghai Times Square, Hong Kong Mall and plenty of others mall and shops to walk till your leg breaks...

We reached back at hotel around 12am and get our much needed rest for Saturday. We was like dead tired and our legs are just sored. Woke up at around 9am tomorrow morning and get ready to go out to go to AP mall in Pudong to meet up with our friends there.

The most funny and unbelievable thing happens, the area of Xujiahui has a blackout and the Metro is stop. Infact, all the shops, traffics and etc stops. Imagine a blackout inside Metro with no lights. Wonderful! Imagine 2 trains stops and alights at 1 single station and everyone is pushing to go out...Hundreds of people rushing and walking up the stairs...Horrible sight!

We then walk to the next station and proceed to have our breakfast 1st at a SoyaBean shop with no electricity :) 2 hours later, Metro is available back, but with limited trains and limited stops at limited locations. Funny. The trains are like....OMFG! Packed even worst than sardines. Imagine scores of people rushing up the Metro even with some stuck between the doors of the trains and reforce to reopen again to push into the already overly too packed sardine cans. We waited for almost 4 trains to pass by before there are a little space for us to slot in. We are too stuck at the doors...OMFG!

We managed to reach to AP Plaza at Pudong by noon and have our lunch there, Melrose Pizza. We walked around and i managed to bargain and bought 1 pair of jeans and a belt at a discounted bargained price. The trick is to know the bottom line cost of the items and NOT speaking out of the price u want. Rather let them say the price and just complains its expensive and walk out of the shop before asking for sizes and designs of the items that you wish to purchase. They will then offer you a price that is 70% below the listed price. Bargain again by giving them your price then. Ask them to sell u at that price or u simply walk off. 80% of the times, you will get with what u want at a price that is way below normal, but there is still little bit of profit for them to make. You win and they win! Fair deal...IMHO

Then we went to Yu Yuan Garden via car and walk around till night fall at 6pm. I managed to buy some beads and bracelet at a bargain, IMHO. We then went to eat there in a chinese restaurant and finish by almost 7.30pm. Then, we went to XinTianDi at nearby HuaiHaiLu for some walking and a drink by the roadside cafe cum bar cum restaurant. Nice... See the picture above for the map of XinTianDi and it is similiar to Clarke Quay in Singapore although i recomment Clarke Quay being bigger and more happening minus the chilling nice weather. Cool now in Shanghai and it is simply so nice being able to sit by the roadside smoking, drinking and simply enjoy the time then.

We hang out till 9pm and went back to ZJG, back home to home sweet home. But not without going to Malones for Man Utd Live match vs Middlebrough, which the devils win 4-1. Nice!

Krazybananaz out!

Fun Friday Fun!

Today in ZJG this morning is a little bit of misty. The mist is unusually foggy and its cooling. Just imagine the morning in the Genting after a rain around 7am. Double that mist and fog and you will feel and have an idea what the heck i am feeling now. It is cold every morning and i barely drop a sweat. I needed to cover myself with towel when entering the toilet. I need to heat up the bone chilling tiles by flushing the toilet floor with hot steamy water from the tub. Misty it seems, something like a steam bath, with no sweat but to create some heat in the toilet before i take my morning bath. Comfortable and nice...

I have not have my breakfast yet. Just a couple of france lil bread bun and with accompanied with a glass of hot nescafe. Its not enough and i can feel it in my stomach. Its screaming for food since i was only eating instant noodles yesterday night. My stomach is hungry and i'll proceed to make another glass of nescafe with some cookies from my friend. Nicely delicious...

Work is still that busy and i am hoping that today will be the payday, since it will be the payday for all the locals in our factory. I'll keep my fingers crossed and my arms crossed and whatever cross...Hahaha. I was thinking that i need to purchase a few items down the road these days. I need an external harddrive to store my personal stuffs and for backing up purposes. I need to get a camera as well, both for taking photos when i need 1 and for company purposes as well. Well, i need to get a better and more updated mobile that is cooler, nice camera with memory card, flash light camera function and Mp3 player embedded together.

I will be getting some extra winter/fall clothes, most preferably jacket, long sleeve shirt, maybe pants of sneakers. But will be getting a jacket and long sleeve shirt 1st due to the winterish weather and the coldness here. I'll be sourcing for it sometime from now and get a nice looking 1 without paying a bomb for it. Its just that the expenses and the inflation of prices here in the golden triangle of Jiangsu and Shanghai, there is no running from it. Prices is high and it is expensive to a certain degree, higher than Malaysia and KL and comparable to SG. But be smart and bargain and we'll have plentiful of choices. Hope to get 1 somewhere this month.

I'll be heading back to MY/SG next month for my routine visa application for China. I do not know yet for how long but i wish to at least see my darling and Romeo... Need to see them to release my love and i am soft now. Anyway, to cut it short, today is Friday and hope that everyone everywhere that is reading now, feels good coz its Friday! Cheers...!

Weekend is ahead and i wish you to have a enjoyable days ahead. Have fun!

Romeo Passport Photo 11 Months

What do you think of this cute sweet little boy? I was giggling and smiling and laughing from my heart non-stop for almost an hour last night thinking about him. I kiss this picture of his on the LCD screen on my notebook last night. He looks EXACTLY like me, particularly his mouth and cheek area.

He looks damn cool. My darling says he looks like me and his appearance now is more like a "samseng" or simply thud. Hehehe. I love him just too damn much.

Look at his bead, written "Romeo", his smart t-shirt resembling England football jersey and his hairstyle, Mohawk Mohican Hairstyle... Plus the way he looks into the camera, non-smiling, seriously looking at this lil' camera and just pretending acting cool and macho. Just too damn cute...

And he look just like me... :)

10 Men and 1 Woman

I got this from my friends email and i thought of sharing with all of you. Keep your laughter down, and its only a joke...

11 PEOPLE ON A ROPE

11 people were hanging on a rope under a helicopter, 10 men & 1 woman.

The rope was not strong enough to carry them all, so they decided that one had to leave, because otherwise they were all going to fall. They were unable to decide who would let go, until the woman gave a very touching speech.

She said that she would voluntarily let go of the rope, because, as a woman, she was used to giving up everything for her husband and kids and for men in general, and was used to always making sacrifices with little in return. (too true!) As soon as she finished her speech, all the men started clapping......

SEND THIS MAIL TO AN INTELLIGENT WOMAN, SO THAT SHEHAS SOMETHING TO SMILE ABOUT TODAY

Wonderful women...

Cheers for all the womenhood! Adios...

Mixed Feelings

These few days is really hot. The weather even Autumn right now, which is in the middle of this season, i started to sweat a lil at my forehead, which i have not for a long long time.

The weather forecast is around 22-25 degree celcius these few days. My hand was not freezing anymore while sitting at home using my laptop sitting at the dining area. But, i wore a long sleeve thick sweater :) of course. I was chatting with my darling last night and it felt good. Anyway, happy "pak to" 5 years 10 months anniversary, darling!

I have a very mixed feeling these few days. I felt lonely, i felt emotional, i felt love, i felt missing someone, i felt heavy, i felt stress, i felt happy, i felt satisfied, i felt tired and i felt funny. I dunno why. Perhaps it is due to that i am lost. Maybe i am too stressful at work. I work my arse off these week. I was running and sprinting at the same time. Sometimes after work, i felt tired and just simply exhausted and i felt not having enough time to catch up with times. I need to relax or i think that i will simply burned out before my time comes.

Perhaps tonight i do not want to think about work at all to cool down and just relax with my cuppa of coffee and ciggy again. Chilling out it seems, is the best idea for me right now. Ice-cream is also another good idea!

I am fasting and diet now. I eat veggies and eggs only, with white rice or fried rice and mostly i drink oolong ginseng chinese tea at home. I eat bread mostly for breakfast, canteen "suck-all-the-time" rice for lunch accompanied with green tea whole day at office, evening dinner perhaps chinese rice dish or simply noodles. What a turnaround for me. Hope for the best this week coming to the next.

My payday is at the weekend, i think. YooHoo! At least some consolation or some good news. Maybe i need to shop for some think clothings, a new jacket perhaps and i was planning to see see and window shop around when i got the time at weekend. Maybe i'll go to Suzhou, where they have more shops or i simply will go to Shanghai AP market or Xujiahui for some discounted or nice clothings. Maybe...

Until then, lets pray for a joyous stressless meaningful happy weekend...Adios!

Doer

I do not know why, but i really do hate repetitive adminstrative work especially when it comes to redoing the same thing over and over again. For instance, typing something into excel row by row and line by line and spending maybe 4-5 hours minimum by just typing data and information into excel so that you can create report easier monthly. I am supposed to do that now on top of my other more or equally important task as well. Its just that i prefer to make arrangment and doind some planning and making things work rather than doing typing the same old thing all over again.

Unless i'm a typical employee who just want to finish my job and hope that no 1 will come to disturb me kinda guy. I'm not. I believe i am a doer and i wanted to get things done, making more important decisions and doing something which is more important like admistrate or allocation of task. I am an entrepreneur and i am accountable for my results. But i will get my base cover and do the ground work 1st, which is admistration and data input task :( Sad but need...

Yeah Yeah. Sober and just kinda shit. But its life and life goes the highway. So its my way or the highway...Adios

Devastating World

The fucking world is a fucking dangerous place to live in. I am referring to both China and Malaysia in this perspective and it is mind blowing dangerous and i meant it. Stories and news of the truth really makes 1 weep and sad for the unfortunate circumstances that happen to the loved ones. Devastated to be exact. Some of us as human, cares and tell stories over the friends and neighbours over the dangerous and the saddening news, some who are directly affected, will weep and blame and cry over the event, some will just ignored it and just don't care about it as it has nothing to do with them and some will even cut themselves from the truth of these dangerous things by ignoring it totally about it. I am referring to events of who-knows-any-man-can actually do it, snatching, killing spree, robbery, killing, cheating, lies, deceit, thieving and etc.

I am devastated by all these news due to that i heard a lot of these stories from my dear friends, whom are directly involved or have someone dear that are involved in these stories. Fucking crap events that happen because of those fucking idiots and fucking "chi bai"s that causes the pain to others.

I was once snatch by a group of 4 in the heart of KL while crossing the road just because i was holding over my darling handbag. My friend was murder few years back over some heaty argument in Hartamas. Funny isn't it how the security over the world has become. My friend's friend, both Korean in KL Kelana was murdered by 2 fucking drunk in the middle of the afternoon, hit by a gold stick and cut at artery at the achilles. Another 1 was cut at her 2 fingers while departing from a taxi in Bandar Utama. WHERE THE FUCK IS THE FAIRNESS AND JUSTICE? If you were to ask me. How the fuck those these things happen to some innocent people who are just living their life comfortably and securedly. Shit does happens? Crap...Fucking hell...

Same with China. People get rob and cheated and snatch every single day. They even beat the crap out of you if you resist. Fucking shit...Life is so fucking unfair and it will never be. I am devastated and i need to relax. Is there nothing can be done at all? Call the cops?...Can they do anything at all? Those who knows how the system works will just forget about it and move on. Sometimes, somethings can't be just forgotten...

Ai! Fucking shitty little world. Lets pray and hope for the best...

Romeo "Mohawk" Style

Romeo in trunks and pushing cart! Accompanied by his new "Mohican Mohawk" hairstyle and a new bead necklace written "Romeo"! OMG! My Romeo is more stylish and more "Yao Ying" than me...Grrr! I felt good and i felt happy! Delighted infact seeing him more "In" than me. Kekeke.

What to do? Me his dad and as my friend says, i'm old. Nevertheless, he is cute and he is damn "cun". Scare he make all the females drooling for him only. Luckily he haven't get his earring hole yet as he is too small and too young. My darling plans to dye his hair color green! OMG...

Can you imagine how he looks like with a skull t-shirt with baggy jeans with chain, black bandana and rayban sunglasses for kids...Just pure fun and pure delight! Haha.

Seeing him makes me felt soft at heart and seeing him growing so tall and big after being with him for such a long time and suddenly after 13 months since the day he was borned makes me wonder how time flies. How time really goes by at the speed of light... How time really never waits for no 1 but for u to keep thinking about the time u spend and use it for the goodness sake of your dreams. Rather than being stuck in a rat race and kinda robot zombie generation, we just forgot the reason that we exist sometimes. You do have to have the real sense of truth in you. The sense that you know what is REALLY happening and within your control. Rather than just being a person who wonders and work everyday without a sense of what is really happening.

Back to the point, isn't he the cutest and the most "yao ying" boy in the whole wide world. Miss him really, which makes me missing my dearest darling at heart as well. Well, this post is dedicated to my both dearest in heart and thinking and missing them all the time. :) *weep weep* Cherish with whatever that you have now...Peace :)

Cheekiest Boy in the World

Does he looks like the most adorable, cutest, sweetest, cheekiest boy in the world? This picture was taken 2-3 weeks back in Shanghai metro when we are going back after a day out shopping. When we are boarded into this train, found a seat and in our opposite seated a row of ladies in their 20's and smiling at him, Romeo, as he is the cute baby.

Then, he proceed to give his "paiseh", "malu" kinda look to the opposite girls before making this kinda cheeky look and clap his hands as well. Good for us we managed to grab this loon of his just in the nick of time. Hehe... Just pure adorable and sweetest boy of all!

What do ya think? :)

Thursday Live from ZJG

It has since been few days since i last posted in my own blog. I was busy with everything and i try to slot in some time now for making some updating. Work is busy and so was my sleep is a little bit of lacking, sleepy in the office and feeling lethargic right now. Hence, the time to take a break and smoke secretly while now typing at my desk, cubicle to be exact.

Today we took our team photograph session at downstairs for our opening ceremony and company booklet. Everyone dress nicely and neatly with some girls putting some makeup also. Haha. But anyway, work is work and hence, i took the photo with my best effort from a Olympus camera borrowed from a friend of mine. Quite professionally taken in fact with my work. The only fall back is i do not know how to make the best setting out of the camera. Used to my old camera for best shot with the natural lightnings and picture quality set to the appropriate settings.

The planning and the event management for my company opening ceremony is on the track but with some hectic scheduling and work to be done, need extra effort plus more focus into it. Work is perhaps sometimes overloaded at times and its just tiring sometimes. Maybe i need break and do something relaxing to cool and clear my mind. Regain my energy and sleep more to rest my mind and body. I can feel from my lips that i am hot internally from my body, signalling to the master, sleep more KNN!

I quit eating meat and any alcoholic beverages for this 2 weeks to 1 month. Only veggies, rice, noodles and green tea for now for the sake of improving my body toxification system. Plus the extra daily supplements and vitamins for my liver and hope that it will improve fast enough to make a difference. Keeping my fingers crossed for now, both hands!

Meanwhile, i heard from my darling today that Romeo is able to stand and walk a few steps on his own on the exact of 13 months birthday. He has grown to such a sweet, cute, smart, tough and cheeky boy now. He is just to cute and sweet. He hugs and he smiles at people everywhere. He likes to mingle around with people and he is pure adorable. He laughes and claps his hands whenever there are a lot of people around him. He just smiles back and laughs with his cheeky kinda look to anyone that smiles at him. The further good thing is, he do not just smile to anybody until he recognised their faces as friends rather than foe before making his cheeky smiling face! Just pure sweetness from him :) Got my genes...

Got to back to work for now and until further free time for my blog, adios and take care everyone. Cheers!

Lonely Night

It has been 2 nights since my darling went back home and i really miss her so much. Especially at night last night, the loneliness feeling really kills me. My mind went blank and stress and blank and stress again. I felt lonely and alone on the bed lying down before i went snoring. But the fact that she was not here last night since we were together for a month in China, makes me felt lonely and alone. It is hard and i am not used to it yet. I told her that i need at least 1-2 weeks to adjust back to my normal self, the logical confidence me that will be hard, smart and tough. The successful confidence me...

The workload is good. I can managed it well although the time is not really on my side, but i can manage it well. Preparation of opening ceremony, event management company, logistics planning, guest list, my own warranty administration work, conversion of policy and procedure handbook for Asia Pacific are the things that i have to do right now. It is not that much but yet it is all of utmost important and vital to the success of the company. I run as fast as a bullet train in my work, my task and my responsibilities in the c0mpany and i believe all of this is going to make me successful in my future. Result result action action!

As of currently, i'm listening to Paul Oakenfold techno tunes while typing these messages across my screen at night after my dinner, accompanied by a jug of warm green tea and a huge glass of chilled Ipoh White Coffee, smoking the smooth flavour cigarette, just makes it perfect. It is simply awesome!

I went for my blood test today this morning and i do hope that when i get the result tomorrow, the results will be good and improved. Pray hard... I have been taken my supplements accordingly and with the stronger vitamins, i hope that these numbers on the results paper will be better off than last time, 2 weeks ago. *Keep my fingers crossed*

Last but not least, i always believe tomorrow will always be a better day and i do hope so! Until further information and a piece of my crowded mind calms down, Adios!

The Real China

This lesson is hard to swallow and it is definitely a bitter pill for everyone to learn. Especially in China big cities and applicable for both men and women. It is hard and harsh. It is definitely most real and its pain. Those who is around us, our gang and my darling, will know what i am talking about here. I wish to explain and to tell everyone to beware of this fucking con-job that is massive and is everywhere in China.

Life for Chinese in China is harsh. Money is hard to make and its is definitely harder than to compare in Malaysia and Singapore. People have to scratch, beg, con, lie to make a living and everyone just have their side of view and they assume that they are the ONLY one there. There is no cooperation and no teamwork and it is mostly applicable to all chinese in mainland. You have to step up and beware of all the con job in China. You have to be mentally prepared, as it is a dog eat dog world and having a sixth sense of feeling an listening to your heart is mostly important here.

Sometimes, you just have to feel it and listen to your senses and be aware of the surrounding. You have to be smarter and tougher than everyone else in China. Be aware and prepare. I felt that and i can say that mostly younger people in Malaysia, working generation in 20's, have a hard time to be aware and adapt to China. It is due to that i felt the people in 20's in Malaysia and Singapore is just too "naive" and do not have enough composure and exposure to deal with the real hard world. Try to come to China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to work and experience it. Give yourself 6 months and you will have the idea that i am having now and it is important element if you want to be successful in your life. It is damn FUCKING hard here and you will be con into something without you knowing it. People uses harassment, lies, deceit and they just fucking lie into your eye without blinking at you. It is true and it will be the lesson i learn here.

I grow and i have the experience. I have the wisdom now and i know what to do. I know it is pain and its a bitter pill to swallow. Someone once says before, If you live in Hong Kong, Taiwan or China, you will know the truth and the hard fact of life here!" It is true.

To those who still live under the umbrella back home, grow up and face the world and you might come out a stronger person. Believe me. I know we, Malaysians 20's, is weak and we will be crushed if we are to live out in the open, whether we are Chinese, Malays or Indians. It is simply we are not ready, naivevity and the lack of composure and exposure is the key button for our weakness.

Last but not least, you might not agree with me but it is simply the truth that is out in the open world. If you do have a glimpse and experience in this harshness, you will comes out to be a victor! I do hope that all of us to comes out a victor and together we learn from our fall. Until then, Adios!

Superb Month!

Autumn in ZhangJiaGang China is really nice. The weather is chilly with temperature around 15 to 23, sunny but with breezy winds blowing making it to be cool and chill. At night temperature drops to 15 on the average night, but according to weather forecast tomorrow night lowest will be around 13 degree celcius. Quite cold if you were to ask me. We go out every night wearing at least 2 layer of shirts covering our body to keep ourself warm at heart. What a great chilling night to go out and enjoy the walk...

My darling and Romeo is leaving tomorrow from China back home after 1 month of holiday and it seems too fast to be true. 1 month is as if a blink of an eye. I love all the great moments we spend together going out to Shanghai and Suzhou and walking around eating, shopping and chilling out. Its great and its fun. It has been a great time together and i'm sure there are plenty more to come the next time. Feels great!

Romeo is crying hard tonight. It happens after he sleep at 11pm, and woke up crying around 1am. Crying unreasonably infact, and it seems, according to my Darling, that something is bothering him. They have sixth sense that feels and tells him, that he is leaving China tomorrow back to KL or we might be leaving him coz we packed for the journey back home tomorrow. Maybe he just enjoys himself too much in China, the nice chilling weather, the attention he gets from the people here and etc. Thats why he felt it hard and he just love it here. Especially the weather, so damned nice... P.S. He is super sensitive to hot...

Anyway, it has been a superb month for my family and i do hope for more to come and until then, KrazyBananaz out!

Challengy Worky

What do you do when you face a challenge in your work? Will you be stressful and negative or do you feel excited and positive while stressful when you face a great challenge? Let me clarify a description of challenge for myself, a project comes to hand, and you volunteer to executed, manage and organize it yourself with your team. You prepare all the work and planning from scratch to the end, which is endless of course. You make it happen precisely and perfectly even above others expectation of what they perceived as their realistic standard outcome. In short, everyone will be impressed and you will be fully satisfied due to the outcome of the project. Perfection in spite of all the falls and things along the way!

Do you strive for this challenge? I know i do. I know i'm a winner and i am just purely passionate about winning the game of life, the game of work and to succeed in this environment where you can be able to show your qualities. Maybe perhaps it is due to the spirit of entrepreneurship running in the veins and in the blood, that i need to take control of the event and make it happen!

I do hope that you too will strive in whatever you do. May it be studies, working or everything else, i wish you all the best to succeed in your life!

Suzhou Day 2

This is Suzhou's Humble Adminstrator Park located just at the city's center 5 minutes away from BuXinJie. Total altogether there are more than 5 visitor's park like these in Suzhou alone. Although there is 1 called Le Yuan further away, but have a theme park and a lot of nice flower and historical sites to visit.

Apparently this park is created during 15xx AD during Qing Dynasty for a retired government servant. This park entrance fee is RMB70/pax and mind you, its quite big and long walk as well. Plenty of greenery, plenty of water, plenty of people, plenty of stones and bla bla bla. The picture behind me is a small little tea house create next to a pond of water lilies and ducks. Its design is according to a dragon and the house itself is similiar to dragon head. The roof tiles are dragon's scales and the body of the dragon is the walkway.

There are even some nice little cozy tea house smaller fitting only 2 person, which is for those days, concubines and ladies hanging around chatting and spending their time talking nonsense, just like what you see in those HK movies. Really like those scene i think...

By the time we are done walking in this park, it is almost 3pm and our legs are dead tired again. Sweat all over and sticky as well. We took tonnes of photos of this park, marvelous for nature lovers and good for exercise as well :) We then took a nice electric bicycle trishaw back to our hotel for our luggage. Nice feeling...Kekeke and we went to have a nice light McD meal with Ice Mocha just before we went to bus station to catch the bus back to ZJG.

It was a really nice feeling and nice adventure for traveling to Suzhou overall for the 2 days. We did enjoy it and we would certainly go back to there if there is chance again. Haven't been to all the parks yet, u know... :) Until then, Krazybananaz out! Ciao.

Suzhou Day 1

OMG! Finally i saw some home cook cuisine "delicious" slurp slurp at Suzhou near BuXinJie. There also is a north indian cuisine. We flip through the menu and found nasi briyani, roti murtabak, curry, pappadam and more! OMFG! Why can they open some branches in ZJG? Fuck...drooling now, slurp slurp...

Plus, my darlind now, if not mistaken, is cooking curry while i'm typing the blog, making me even more hungrier. I have not taste any curry, especially nice curry, in more than 1 month, feels like dying of hunger here although i can adapt to it :) Still somehow, deep inside my heart, my brain and inside my stomach, these "organs" kept on yelling to their master, which is me, i want some home cook food, nasi lemak, kopi ice, char keoy teow". Cheh! You think i don't want meh? KNN...

Anyway, back to the main subject here, we went to Suzhou on Friday brunch time after we woke up and get everything ready especially with Romeo around having his Soy Milk and his nice little nap around 9-10am every morning. We got a ticket and get on with the ride around 2 hours to Suzhou. Got plentiful of experiences seeing how the bus ride system here works. Supposingly the journey takes only 1 hours plus plus, but we took 2. Know why? Coz the damn driver, want to make extra $ for his own pocket by getting more people on the bus to Suzhou along the small highway. Around 10-15 person board the bus paying him around RMB20/each and mind you, they sit in the aisle, coz the original sitting seats is fully occupied, but still, the aisle in the middle of the bus is full of person until to the door. Eye opening!

We reach to the Northern bus station in Suzhou and proceed to lineup for a cab to the HomeInn Hotel and to my shocki again, in Suzhou apparently there is 10 HomeInn Hotel! Wah lau eh! So, ask the driver to get us to the nearest 1 near the walkstreet; BuXinJie. Went in and check in. Come out in the evening around 4.30pm and apparently there is not enough time for us to go to any of the 4 parks in Suzhou, which is, Suzhou is famous for. So we decided to walk in the walkstreet and check out the happenings.

What the heck! The fucking street is so damn long and it is simply unbelievable with all the people and all the pedestrians walking up and down. Thousands of people in 1 street, 4 KFCs in 1 street, more than 3 Nikes, Adidas boutiques in 1 single street. OMFG! And to our astonishment, we found the "eating" street just behind the main BuXinJie and plentiful of restaurants and cafes. We walk walk walk and found a lot of international brand in this area as well. Me and my darling was dumbfounded. We found Haagen Dasz, Armani Exchange, Omega boutiques, Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Loewe and etc famous branded goods available at this vicinity. We also found few bars and pubs that offers international beers such as Budweiser, Hoegaarden, Fosters and etc. What we never expect is this place, Suzhou, really have these brands to cater for expats, and we found out that actually there are a lot of visitors to Suzhou. Tourists from Korea, US, Japanese, Malaysians, Singaporeans, Europeans and etc. We did saw a lot of foreigners here.

We then ate our dinner at this so-called BBQ Grilled Charcoal place buffet style at RMB50/each and we took our time enjoying the foods and meats. Hehe! Then we walk around the fake good areas, which is also around the tourist spot nearby around a temple. Buy some silk scarfs and silk pyjamas for mom, some chinese purse and mirrors and the trick is to bargain all the way. But of course, you must guess the bottom prices for these items before you bargain, for example, we got 3 pieces of semi silk scarfs originally priced at RMB20 each, which we know we can bargain the price. We then choose and just name a price for 3 of the scarfs to the boss and we know they will make $ as well. Just that make sure we bargain to an appropriate level of price that we think it is for that particular item. We then go for a drink around the area, at an open air new row of shop nearby for a coffee ice and Heineken for my Darling. Sat there just enjoying the wind of Autumn night, holding our ciggies as usual and enjoying the drinks and moment to the max! Such a pleasure...

We did notice there is a couple of discos and R & Bs clubs around. Ktv is abundance here. I heard mentioning before that Suzhou even has a bar street solely comprises of bars and cafes and pubs, although i haven't been for the due lack of time, 2 days 1 night. I'll be dropping by again to visit the night life here next time when there is opportunity around, $...

We went back at home around 11pm when Romeo makes noises... :) Goes back to the fav HomeInn and rest for the night...

To be continued...

Shanghai 3 Days!

Shanghai trip for 3 days 2 nights is definitely refreshing for overall. Shanghai is just so damn freaking big and lotsa people and people and people everywhere. Go to any shopping or tourist attraction area and it is so damn jammed packed with people people and people.

We left on Monday morning from ZJG taking a bus around 10am and 2 hours reaching the North Bus Station in Shanghai. Fortunately for me, that i remember the way around there after a few trips. We proceed to take Metro underground to our hotel in XuJiaHui again, HomeInn Hotel, our favourite nice little cozy yellow colored hotel. We then checked in proceed to go to Metro City lower ground floor, food court for some delicious lunch. We walk around there again that comprises a few malls and by the time we are done and back at the hotel, it is night already getting ready for some rest after a whole day walking. I bought a new super duper cheap mobile, we get Romeo few toys from Grand Gateway, a baby notebook since he like to pester us when we use our notebook, a pushing learning walking cart, a remote control baby car :) So far the 1st day is good.

2nd day comes and we have even more jammed packed action day! Lunch at a local mixed dished restaurant nearby and my darling have her long awaited haircut that cost RMB35 inclusive of head massage, hair washing and professional stylist modelling the hair and it takes around 1 and half hour to get it done. We then take Metro to Nanjing East Road for a walk at Shanghai BuXinJie, "walking street". Seas of people. Walk to the Bund next to HuangPu River and found out that it is simply too packed to walk across the street to take some scenic pictures by the river looking across to Pudong tower. So we decided to walk back and take Metro across the river and up the tower :) Pay RMB 170 for 2 adults to goes up the tower and get some pictures and enjoy the Shanghai view. Seas of people again.

By the time we are done with the tower it is already dark around 6.30pm. We then proceed to take Metro to this underground mall in Pudong that is famous for cheap goods. Heard from local Chinese that all the bargains and psar malam stuff can be found here. Reach there and have a japanese dinner accompanied by a slight walk in the mall and surprisingly, they normally closed at 8pm. Hence, a short walk buying a pair of Puma sneakers for each of us and a nice pair of matching watch for both of us :) By then, we are dead tired with our legs and it simply gave way for any other walking :)

3rd day, which is today, we met up with out friend and we have our China's Pizza Hut at XuJiaHui. Then we took the Metro to HuaiHai Lu adjascent to Nanjing Dong Lu and this street is new for me as well. There are plenty of malls and stores along this road, Shanghai Time Square for the branded rich and famous stuff, Hong Kong mall, Isetan, H & M, small shops along the road and even an underground mall just for ladies called Fashion Center that sells ladies accessories, clothings, manicures and pedicures and etc. So shock! The only entrance is the escalator down from the main street going down for the mall and it is a lot of ladies there shopping, mind you!

Then we proceed to XuJiaHui for Romeo's diaper and milk before we went to coffee bar at Grand Gateway for the evening until sunset. Such a nice wonderful day! We proceed back to hotel reception for our luggage and have a cab to North Bus Station in Shanghai to come back to ZJG. Reach home at 9pm and here i am feeling great after a nice 3 days trip to this wonderful metropolis east of Jiangsu.

Wishing to have more days and more trips to there more often if i have enough funds to shop shop shop. And of course to Xintiandi at night for some night scenes. Until then, Krazybananaz out! Adios...
