I love these quotes:
Napoleon Bonaparte
1. Impossible is a word only to be found in the dictionary of fools.
2. All religions have been made by men.
3. Religion is what keeps the poor man from murdering the rich.
4. Courage is like love; it must have hope to nourish it.
5. Death is nothing, but to live defeated and inglorious is to die daily.
6. Imagination rules the world.
7. Riches do not consist in the possession of treasures, but in the use made of them.
8. Soldiers generally win battles; generals get credit for them.
9. The human race is governed by its imagination.
10. The surest way to remain poor is to be an honest man.
When i look upon these words and lines of wisdom from someone who lives years ago, gloriously! makes me wonder the truth beneath the lines of words from them. Some might be true and some might not.
But generally, i know the quotes above, are true in every sense and every angle. Try to imagine upon it and think about our current scenario around the world today. The only improvements i notice between our time now againsts hundreds of years ago would be the speed of change.
Almost anyone nowadays can be a general of their own war, someone with power and influence enough to command in their networks of influence. Someone for instance, media baron controlling the news, like Rupert Murdoch, the chairman and founder of News Corp. Powerful weapon that influence the mass populations.
Someone younger controlling the online media world, such as Larry Page and Sergey Brin, the founders of Google, controlling the skies of our daily computing and needs of information. Or perhaps, Steve Jobs, founder of Apple Computers. Ever changing the revolution of how we communicate and our lifestyles, that evolves an army of fans globally wishing to get that latest iPhone 3G.
More, i can quote and tell you. But, generally i believe those quotes by Napoleon Bonaparte is very true to its basic sense. Go on. Read more and understand more. Maybe you need some extra challenge in your head to crack a few nuts.
