Integrity + Harmony = Success?

Reading this post from Lee Kuan Yew makes me feels a hundred times better than to read our dear thestar.com.my

At least it offers something more educational and more inspiring for readers.

I agree wholeheartedly regarding about the content of the statement given by the MM of Singapore, Lee Kuan Yew, about the key to Singapore success. Its the integrity that makes the country a success. Its from the top management. Its about the racial integration, chinese, malays, indians and others staying and working together achieving greatness and harmony.

I mean, those who have been to Singapore, in general, will know that Singaporeans do Works together and Talks to each other (maybe for the exception of the overcrowding of foreign migrates from Bangladeshs and Indians) But generally, Singaporeans do work together without stabbing each other using races as a barrier, unlike our dear Malaysians who categorize themselves as malay, orang asli, orang asal, bumiputera and etc etc. While calling Chinese and Indians pigs and "go back to your homeland la! You Pigs!"

To further understand of the behavioural and the mindset of the orang asli, ooooooppps!, orang asal, we need to understand their upbringing and their family influences, especially from their peers and parents.

In general, majority and a lot of these "kampung" peoples that comprises of malays, chinese and indians, are from a poor and village background. Their main objectives in lifes are generally categorize into:

1. Bred the next generation aka have sex nightly,
2. Make little money for food aka daily pay,
3. Rare cows and chickens (to save costs),
4. Plant some vegetables (to save costs as well),
5. Clean the lands behind the kampung house (to eliminate Aedes mosquitoes),
6. Have teh tarik with useless friends at Mamak under the tree every evening,
7. Talk about the "pretty young" girl that passes by wearing her tudung and have a nice smile,
8. Gossiping about the political parties; without doing anything at all,
9. Eat, sleep and do nothing again,
10. Have sex with the 4 wifes nightly.

You see. Sure la they are busy. Their mindset is of pea size brain. How to educate their children to run the country in the near future? No wonder Malaysian politics is at its mess. No wonder citizens are very easy to be coaxed to have demonstrasi and reformasi. How not? Just buy them a glass of teh tarik and shout some slogan about the ineffectiveness of our country leadership, and the whole kampung will wear Malaysia flag as their bandana carrying the flag while riding their kap-chais (motorcycles in local slang) to the parliament.

The little red dot, refered in the article by Lee Kuan Yew, is now bigger, better and more marvelous than our dear Malaysia. Such a pathetic place, name Malaysia, run by even more pathetic people. Calling themselves as leaders. *fainting*

To change the country future, unless these current bred of leaders and ministers are willing to massive resign, over the failure of jobs and performance, we need massive downsizing when recession is here. Just read those ministers in South Korea resign over some shambles. We need to copy over Chua Soi Lek, who resigns himself after his sex scandal is leaked out. At least, he has integrity and admits to his mistakes. At least, he is better than some Indian guy, who says, "that guys looks like me, but maybe thats not me", when he was shown the tape in the court. WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?

We need to run like a big corporation. We, Malaysians, pays taxes for the government to run the country afterall. We need a organization that is effective and acts with integrity. Its exactly the same concept as a multinational corporation heading by a CEO, top management and middle management down to labours and workers. What we need right now is a change in the management. A management with integrity.

Of course, the overall direction made by these leaders also plays a massive role, such as investing in a world class education system that TEACHES the correct moral value to the students. These are some of the examples, IMHO, that i suggests:

1. Races are to be united and SHOWN by examples of lecturers that comprises of malay, chinese and indians.
2. An art student studying in university to be given a related field of studies, NOT, in a CHEMICAL ENGINEERING field?!?!?!?!?
3. Less political base parties and events in universities. More and more solid quality lecturers to be hired.
4. Changing the mentality and fundamentals of students, workout + smart + integrity = success!

What do you think?
